Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Implementation and Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering Implementation and Support services to our MSO clients, including being the implementation or configuration specialist throughout all stages of delivery and providing post-go-live BAU support.

Requirements
  1. ISEB Accreditation in Business Analysis, or equivalent Business Analyst experience
  2. SQL knowledge
  3. Must have worked in a financial services environment
  4. Experience of at least 2 major projects through the life cycle of development and into production, or experience of business readiness of 2 new clients going live into production
  5. Experience of taking ownership of project or support tasks and ensuring successful delivery
  6. Experience of front-line live support activity - in particular, dealing with high-priority live issues in a calm manner to ensure swift resolution
  7. Good knowledge of the business and software environments, including regulatory regimes
  8. Exposure to Source Control, Release Management, Testing, and Task Management
  9. Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile development lifecycles and methods
  10. Good knowledge of relational databases, SQL, JSON, and XML
  11. Good knowledge of MSO documents and configuration artefacts
Desirable Skills
  1. Experience of Configuration activity
  2. Experience in financial services (Mortgages, Life Insurance, Retirement, Wealth Management) would be desirable
  3. Good presentation skills
  4. Commercially aware
  5. Ability to be adaptable and able to change activities within the project without direct supervision
  6. Excellent forensic and problem-solving skills
  7. An eye for detail coupled with a focus on quality
  8. Proven ability to work well on an individual basis and within a team
  9. Ability to prioritise activities against an agreed plan
  10. Robust and resilient, e.g. able to stand own ground, able to deliver bad news (diplomatically) to senior management, willing to challenge the viability of a business case
  11. Able to provide timely and professional response to queries raised within Service Level Agreements
