Duration: Long-term Contract

Location: Hybrid

The Financial Crime Detection Solutions Architect will work closely with the leadership of the Financial Crime value stream, product ownership, and Engineering to define their technology vision and strategy.

  • Experience in digital and broader architectural transformation, applying solutions from decomposing monolithic systems and managing technical debt.
  • Ability to understand, articulate, and translate customer journeys into technical design, leveraging API and micro-service architecture techniques.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of enterprise-level software development and API-based integration, such as Mulesoft and Kong.
  • The ability to communicate efficiently with business stakeholders, IT teams, peers, vendors, and client-side staff.
  • Familiarity with technology concepts, roles, and terminology, and the ability to work closely with application architects and modellers.
  • Familiarity with API design and awareness of microservice architectures.
  • The ability to serve as an active participant in architecture groups and forums, communicating solution strategy and design in conversation, documentation, and presentations.
  • Additional desirable background experience includes:
  • Consultancy or customer-facing experience within a software vendor or enterprise-scale services environment.
  • Financial Services domain knowledge with practical experience of mobilizing technology to meet market dynamics affecting the financial services domain (Risk, Cost, Customer).
