Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care, making clinical decisions and providing expert assessment and diagnostic skills in a General Practice setting.
- Assess patients presenting with acute or chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans to meet their needs.
- Consult and triage patients via various methods, including face-to-face, telephone, home visits, and video consultations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, integrating drug- and non-drug-based treatment methods into a management plan.
- Prescribe medication, review treatment plans, and participate in clinical administration within the practice.
- Work with patients and their carers to ensure compliance with and adherence to prescribed treatments.
- Provide information and advice on medication regimens, side-effects, and interactions.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical developments and maintaining relevant competencies for practice.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
