Job Summary

The North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resource Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the Scheduling Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to meet the demands of our service.

Main Responsibilities

As a Resource Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting operations with a focus on working pattern flexibility, staff rotas, and ensuring capacity and demand are met.
  • Allocating and utilising clinical colleagues and resources effectively.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision and managing your time effectively.
  • Providing analytical and statistical information from the Rostering system to support decision-making.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 or Diploma in a relevant discipline, or significant previous relevant experience.
  • Experience of database management, time management, and working within a team.
  • Excellent IT, literacy, and numeracy skills, as well as the ability to analyse reports and interpret complex statistical data.
