Job Title: Support Assistant for SEND Schools

Job Summary: Tradewind Recruitment is seeking compassionate and experienced Support Assistants to work in SEND schools in and around Preston.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with special educational needs
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
* Support students in their learning and personal development
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff
* Help manage behaviour and provide emotional support to students as needed

Requirements:

* Previous experience working as a Support Assistant (preferably in SEND settings)
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
* Willingness to work flexibly across different SEND schools in Merseyside
* Available for morning calls for same-day assignments
* A passion for supporting children with additional needs
