About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Technologist to lead our global customer account's NPD workstreams and maintain/develop the portfolio. As a key member of our R&D team, you will work cross-functionally and with other McCormick facilities to drive product improvement and innovation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead NPD workstreams for the global customer account, working closely with cross-functional teams and other McCormick facilities to drive product improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and maintain the portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost optimization, regulatory compliance, and process improvements.
  • Travel within EMEA to support customer requirements, with occasional travel outside EMEA.

Requirements:

  • Graduate or equivalent in Food Technology/Food Science or related subject.
  • Relevant bench development experience in salad dressings, condiments, and sauces, with a strong understanding of our ingredient portfolio and customer requirements.
  • Proven project and team management skills, with experience in prioritization, flexibility, and teamwork.
  • Ability to confidently assume a customer-facing role in all appropriate customer meetings, presentations, trials, and project updates.
  • Sound understanding of the development process and its link to the business, including online plant trials.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
