Job Title: Care Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will provide companionship and support to our clients in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing companionship and organising days out with clients
  • Assisting with personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation
  • Running errands, including grocery shopping or prescription pickups
  • Supporting with medications and aiding mobility within homes
  • Handling household chores, such as cleaning and laundry

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be caring, warm-hearted, and have a compassionate nature. You will also need to be perceptive and open to client need changes, responsive and intuitive. A great listener, observant, with a positive attitude and a passion to help others is essential. You will also need to be reliable, dependable, able to multitask, and able to remain calm and keep a cool head.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive pay rate of £15.50 per hour, with double pay for bank holidays. We also offer mileage compensation of 40p per mile and a free Employee Health Cash Plan. Our Comprehensive Training program will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role, and our Supportive Environment will ensure that you feel valued and supported in your work.
