Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a talented Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Ashtons Hospital Pharmacy Services Limited. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive pharmacist to make a real difference in the lives of patients.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide expert pharmaceutical care, driving clinical excellence and improving patient outcomes.
  • As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will undertake medicines management audits on-site, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and maintaining high standards of practice.
  • You will also be responsible for providing clinical training seminars to healthcare professionals, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • A key aspect of this role will be working collaboratively with colleagues to drive change, support policy reviews, and implement improvements where necessary.
  • In addition, you will maintain registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council and adhere to the code of ethics.
  • The successful candidate may be required to travel across a region, depending on assigned work and site locations.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in pharmacy or equivalent at the time of qualification.
  • A valid UK driver's licence, with the ability to travel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including proofreading skills, with a focus on maintaining high accuracy levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English literacy and maths tests may be required at interview).
