Specialized SEN Teacher Opportunity in Ealing

We are a dedicated SEN school in Ealing, committed to providing individualized education and specialized support for students with diverse learning challenges. We are searching for a committed Key Stage 2 teacher who is passionate about creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that empowers each student to reach their potential.
This is a permanent full-time role within our supportive SEN school, offering the opportunity to develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's specific abilities, learning goals, and interests. You will work closely with SEN professionals, teaching assistants, and support staff to create a comprehensive and coordinated support system addressing the unique needs of each student from academics to social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver customized lesson plans to cater to the diverse learning requirements of students with additional needs
- Collaborate with SEN professionals and support staff to ensure a comprehensive support system for each student
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment promoting student confidence and essential life skills
- Engage in continuous professional development and SEN-focused training to enhance your skill set and provide the highest level of support to students
- Monitor and assess student progress consistently using data and observations to adjust teaching strategies as needed
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2 teaching, ideally in SEN environments
- Flexible and empathetic teaching approach with patience and understanding to meet the varied learning styles of students with additional needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with SEN support staff, fellow educators, and families
- Commitment to inclusive education with adaptability to create and modify lesson plans accommodating different learning paces and abilities
- Enhanced DBS check required for the safety and well-being of all students within the school
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
