About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing senior medical input to our inpatient team at Cherry Ward, Highbury Hospital.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide medical leadership for the multi-disciplinary team on Cherry ward
  • Conduct medical/psychiatric assessments to inform care planning and risk assessment
  • Complete administrative tasks related to clinical responsibilities
  • Maintain good clinical records using Trust's electronic record system
  • Participate in clinical audit and contribute to teaching meetings

Requirements

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice at the time of appointment
  • Approved clinician status and S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
