Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager

Purpose of the JobThe Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager is the line manager for a team of engineering technicians. They maintain a focus on safety by training, developing, and coaching their team. They deliver a high level of equipment availability by ensuring all preventative maintenance is conducted and internal processes and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, support, and mentor the team to work in a safe, standard, and efficient manner.
- Work with the team and the wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
- Support the Reliability Engineering Manager in implementing, recording, and auditing safety and statutory compliance programs.
- Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide high equipment availability.
- Ensure sufficient technical coverage by organizing and directing the training program for the team.
- Organize local projects or support EU-level projects as assigned by the manager.
A UK Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher National Certificate (HNC), BTEC National Diploma (OND), IEng, CEng, or ILM L4+ is required. Relevant experience in a maintenance team in an industrial or production environment is necessary. Experience in managing people in an engineering team and liaising with stakeholders is also required. Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English and upper intermediate proficiency in the local language are necessary.
Preferred qualifications include a degree, experience with statutory regulations, and experience with automated equipment and data analysis tools.
