Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rail Infrastructure Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and repairing critical rail infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of passenger and freight services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on a range of railway equipment, including track components, signaling systems, and power supplies.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient completion of projects and tasks.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A proven track record in rail infrastructure maintenance and repair.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Rail Engineering or equivalent.
