Delivery Professional Job Description

Pertemps is collaborating with Royal Mail to find an experienced Delivery Professional to work in the Wishaw area.

This role requires a reliable and physically fit individual to deliver mail and parcels safely and efficiently to customers.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, along with a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Start your day by sorting and collecting post and parcels at the local delivery office.
  2. Use a hand-held device to record customer signatures and navigate your route.
  3. Walk at least 8 miles per day, carrying a bag weighing up to 16kg, and deliver items up to 20kg in weight.
  4. Drive and make deliveries on foot, using a trolley when necessary.

Estimated Salary: Approximately £17,200 - £18,400 per annum, based on a 6-8 week contract with a 40-hour working week.
