**Job Summary**
As a Senior Financial Accountant at Otis, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end process of our UK and Liftec operations. This position requires prior experience in monthly financial close and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the General Accounting Manager in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial reports
- Identify opportunities to improve the accounting and month-end process using total quality management tools
- Perform analysis of overheads and cost center data, preparing month-end journals and full balance sheet account reconciliations
- Provide team assistance where necessary, preparing reconciliations and other required statutory filings
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as quality, environmental health and safety directives
**Requirements**
- Qualified ACCA/ACA with strong academic background and sound technical financial knowledge
- Previous experience working within an accounting environment
- Excellent excel and system skills
- Ability to coach others in technical aspects of Accountancy
