In your role, you will report directly to the Head Chef and will be responsible for supporting meal preparation, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment, and managing deliveries. This position also offers a social aspect, allowing you to interact with various individuals beyond the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting kitchen personnel in meal preparation and cooking in accordance with company standards.
- Serving meals and beverages to clients, staff, and visitors.
- Overseeing storage practices and stock management.
- Ensuring the proper cleaning and storage of kitchen tools and equipment.
- Maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen and related areas.
- Collaborating with the team, including nutritionists, on dietary needs and planned menus.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Catering Certification (Preferred)
- Understanding of COSHH and HACCP regulations
- Prior experience in a similar position
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Work Environment:
Your workplace will be within a facility dedicated to supporting young individuals aged 12-18 who are dealing with Eating Disorders and related challenges, including mental health issues such as depression, OCD, anxiety, or self-harm.
This facility features 12 spacious en-suite rooms, each designed to high standards and personalized by the residents. It includes communal spaces, a lounge, a separate dining area, as well as activity and therapy rooms. The work culture emphasizes teamwork, recovery, and compassion.
