Hireful is an award-winning open-air museum, celebrating the revolutionary story of the Black Country's industrial landscape. Throughout their 46-year history, they have inspired generations to discover the richness of human experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Historic Characters. These individuals will breathe life into stories of those who lived and worked in the Black Country by engaging with visitors. They will play a vital role in sharing authentic migration experiences from South Asia, the Caribbean, and Europe during the 1940s, 50's, and 60's.

Responsibilities:

• Engage knowledgeably and respectfully with visitors to reflect on lived experiences of the Black Country.
• Bring our 26-acre site to life by telling stories and/or performing for visitors.

What We Are Looking For:

• Engaging personalities able to interact enthusiastically with visitors.
• A willingness to respond to training to ensure the authenticity of their stories.
• Respectful adherence to the Museum's standards and expectations around visitor engagement.
