About the Role:

We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Historic Characters. These individuals will be responsible for engaging with visitors, sharing authentic migration experiences from South Asia, the Caribbean, and Europe during the 1940s, 50's, and 60's. As a Historic Character, you will play a vital role in reflecting on lived experiences of the Black Country and contributing to the Museum's mission to inspire discovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage knowledgeably and respectfully with visitors to reflect on lived experiences of the Black Country.
• Bring our 26-acre site to life by telling stories and/or performing for visitors.

Requirements:

• Engaging personalities able to interact enthusiastically with visitors.
• A willingness to respond to training to ensure the authenticity of their stories.
• Respectful adherence to the Museum's standards and expectations around visitor engagement.

Hourly Rate: £11.65.
