Senior Contract Manager

Based in Kent, Skilled Careers is working with a leading Main Contractor to find a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Responsive and Planned Maintenance team.
This role involves assisting in the development and implementation of pre and post contract strategies, commercial functions, and contract reporting. It's an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to progress into a Commercial Manager role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to project commercial strategies and take ownership of subcontract packages.
- Conduct site visits, measure works required, and price up scoping documents with the agreed schedule of rates.
- Work with commercial and operations teams to procure works packages efficiently, including producing a procurement programme.
- Make informed decisions to maximize profit and identify opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience in the Social Housing sector.
- Ideally HNC/HND or Degree qualified.
- Drive and ambition to progress.
- Leadership experience in projects.
