Assistant Company Secretary

Are you a detail-oriented and organized professional looking to support a leading insurance company in their in-house legal team?

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Company Secretary to join our team on a permanent basis. As an Assistant Company Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Company Secretary in various administrative tasks, including preparing meeting materials, compiling Board and Committee packs, and taking minutes of meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meeting materials, such as agendas and action logs, to ensure seamless meetings
  • Compile Board and Committee packs, performing quality assurance to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Take efficient minutes of Board and Committee meetings, capturing key decisions and actions
  • Manage Companies House and other statutory filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Liaise regularly with the leadership team across the Group in the UK and globally, fostering strong relationships and communication

Requirements:

  • ICS A qualifications (partial or full) and experience supporting Company Secretary/Corporate Office administrative tasks
  • Experience working for an insurance or financial services firm is advantageous but not necessary
