Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our team at Nirvana Managed Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness within a SENs school that we manage.

About the Role

This vacancy is for 07:00 - 09:00 Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year, with additional overtime possible in school holidays. We offer a pro-rata salary of £4,517.88 per year, paid monthly at £425.18.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitise designated areas, including restrooms, offices, and common spaces.
  • Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Vacuum and mop floors as needed.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is preferred.
