Adavu is a registered charity dedicated to providing long-term support and advocacy for adult survivors of modern slavery. As Charity Director, you will play a key role in leading our team and driving our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of 3 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our charity.
- Develop and implement financial systems and processes to ensure the effective management of our resources.
- Liaise with external professionals, including payroll and financial services, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Contribute to fundraising activities and grant bids, helping to secure vital funding for our charity.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with other organisations, working together to achieve our shared goals.
- Contribute to wider systemic change in policy and research, helping to create a more supportive environment for adult survivors of modern slavery.
- Maintain and develop Adavu's marketing and communications, ensuring our message reaches the right people.
