Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Neurodiversity Pathway at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological input to neurodiverse children and young people, their families, and professional networks.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake complex assessments and deliver evidence-based and outcome-monitored psychological therapies to children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Collaborate with other pathways and agencies to support the most effective approach for children and young people to have consistent experiences of care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual, working closely with families, carers, and other professionals.
- Contribute to the development of the Neurodiversity Pathway, including the design and implementation of new services and interventions.
- Provide training and supervision to other staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent Masters level qualification in Clinical Psychology.
- Active registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
- Experience of working collaboratively with service users and their families/carers, including using goal-based care and routine outcome measures in practice.
- Experience of working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and across agencies.
- Experience of working with a range of children and young people with complex needs, maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems.
- Experience of undertaking specialist psychological assessments and providing evidence-based interventions, with the ability to work with complex needs and undertake risk assessments.
- Experience of providing teaching and training, as well as safeguarding children and ensuring the safety of young people in partnership with other agencies as appropriate.
