Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant at Manor House School

The Role:

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support our teachers and other support staff in delivering the curriculum and creating a therapeutic environment to meet the diverse needs of our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our students develop socially, emotionally, and academically.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in the classroom and preparing learning materials
  • Leading classroom activities and outdoor experiences
  • Supervising students during their learning journeys
  • Taking responsibility for the emotional and physical needs of our students

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with a GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths and some experience working in a school or with students with special educational needs. You will be adaptable, responsive, and caring, with a passion for working with vulnerable young people.
