About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our IT department at EG Group. As a vital member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity engineers to ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems.
  • Work closely with cyber personnel in other countries to develop and implement global cybersecurity strategies.
  • Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC) function to ensure timely and effective incident response.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our cybersecurity measures.
  • Plan, implement, and oversee cybersecurity changes in a structured manner to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee security incident management and resolution processes to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Maintain and update documentation of security incident playbooks, common practices, process flow diagrams, and the knowledge base to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage workloads and projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Report to senior management on the status of infrastructure projects and operations to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Implement and maintain industry standard cybersecurity controls to ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a minimum of 2+ years in management.
  • Understanding of emerging cyber requirements and cybersecurity threats.
  • Broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies.
  • Experience working in an IT function and relevant field.
  • Proven experience in the management and delivery of key cybersecurity projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate for success with key business stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.
  • Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining an EDR/XDR solution and a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
