About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our IT department at EG Group. As a vital member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and infrastructure.

This position is ideal for a dynamic and experienced professional who excels in team management and has a profound understanding of cybersecurity threats and solutions. You will report directly into the Group Infrastructure & Security Manager and lead a team of cybersecurity engineers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and implementing robust security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity engineers.
  • Work closely with cyber personnel in other countries.
  • Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC) function.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Plan, implement, and oversee cybersecurity changes in a structured manner.
  • Oversee security incident management and resolution processes.
  • Maintain and update documentation of security incident playbooks, common practices, process flow diagrams, and the knowledge base.
  • Manage workloads and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Report to senior management on the status of infrastructure projects and operations.
  • Implement and maintain industry standard cybersecurity controls, testing and evidencing the effectiveness of the controls on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a minimum of 2+ years in management.
  • Understanding of emerging cyber requirements and cybersecurity threats.
  • Broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies (with OT knowledge being an additional benefit).
  • Experience working in an IT function and relevant field.
  • Proven experience in the management and delivery of key cybersecurity projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate for success with key business stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.
  • Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining an EDR/XDR solution (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Tanium).
  • Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) environment (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
