Job Title: Cybersecurity Manager

Job Summary:

EG Group is seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Manager to join our IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of cybersecurity engineers, overseeing the Security Operations Centre function, and implementing robust security measures to safeguard our organisation's digital assets and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards and implement security measures.
  2. Work closely with cyber personnel in other countries to ensure global cybersecurity standards.
  3. Oversee the Security Operations Centre function to monitor and respond to security incidents.
  4. Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure cybersecurity performance.
  5. Plan, implement, and oversee cybersecurity changes in a structured manner to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  6. Oversee security incident management and resolution processes to ensure prompt response and resolution of security incidents.
  7. Maintain and update documentation of security incident playbooks, common practices, and process flow diagrams to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  8. Manage workloads and projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  9. Report to senior management on the status of infrastructure projects and operations to ensure transparency and accountability.
  10. Implement and maintain industry standard cybersecurity controls to ensure the effectiveness of security measures.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Strong leadership and team management skills with a minimum of 2+ years in management.
  2. Understanding of emerging cyber requirements and cybersecurity threats.
  3. Broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies.
  4. Experience working in an IT function and relevant field.
  5. Proven experience in the management and delivery of key cybersecurity projects.
  6. Demonstrated ability to collaborate for success with key business stakeholders.
  7. Experience managing and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.
  8. Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining an EDR/XDR solution and SIEM environment.
  9. Strong organisational and project management skills.
  10. Excellent communication and reporting skills.
