An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated Assistant Building Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Manchester, offering a salary range of £45,000 - £70,000 per annum.

About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support our experienced team on high-profile commercial projects across various sectors, including new-build residential, office fit-outs, and industrial developments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Inspections and Surveys: Conduct thorough site inspections and surveys to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  2. CAD and Design Work: Produce accurate CAD drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, using industry-standard software.
  3. Project Management: Assist in managing sub-consultants, contractors, and suppliers under NEC3 and JCT frameworks.
  4. Condition and Asset Management: Support senior surveyors with condition surveys, asset management assessments, and Party Wall services.
  5. Budget and Cost Monitoring: Assist with compiling project costs and ensuring projects remain on budget.
