Site Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry South East Midlands in Huntingdon. As a key member of our site management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management, and delivery of project works.
- Manage and deliver project works, ensuring compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and project deadlines.
- Lead by example, managing the day-to-day delivery of construction projects, quality, time, procurement, and contractors.
- Manage sub-contractors, monitor contractor attendance and progress, and provide direct instruction and support as necessary.
- Follow Vistry site procedures and maintain all daily, weekly, and monthly site paperwork to ensure audit compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external design teams and consultants to meet project deadlines.
- Produce and regularly review short-term programs in line with the overall project program to ensure completion on time.
- Ensure detailed plans are available to meet scheduled deadlines, and appreciate the commercial implications and drivers within the construction process.
- Liaise with the Contract Manager to ensure they are fully aware of project progress and notified of all financial, specification, and time risks.
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Scaffold inspection qualification.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
