Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Job Overview

We are pleased to present an exceptional opportunity to become a part of our Trust as a Senior Site Operations Manager. We seek a driven individual who will oversee and guide our Site teams while also providing assistance to the broader Trust. The ideal candidate will be a Health Care Professional with extensive management experience and a comprehensive understanding of Capacity and Flow management, alongside the capability to facilitate discharge processes and reduce the length of stay in our facilities, all while prioritizing optimal patient care quality.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Site Operations Manager will collaborate closely with Site Management to ensure the effective execution of operations within the Capacity and Flow Corporate Business Unit (CBU), aligning with the multidisciplinary strategy and vision that supports the achievement of the Trust's objectives.

Specifically, the incumbent will be tasked with delivering senior professional, operational, and strategic clinical leadership to the site operations team, guiding and developing this team to ensure 24/7 patient placement across the organization. The Senior Site Operations Manager will actively support initiatives aimed at reducing Length of Stay and will work in partnership with divisional teams to minimize patient delays within the organization.

This position will function as 'Silver on site' during daytime hours and will work in close collaboration with Silver on Call colleagues in accordance with established escalation protocols. The Senior Site Operations Manager will represent the Trust with external partners at a tactical/silver level and will serve as the primary point of contact for system partners during operational hours. The incumbent will cultivate strong working relationships with clinical teams throughout the Trust and will act as a deputy for the Head of Site Operations as needed.
