Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Site Senior Lead. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and leading our Site teams, and providing strategic guidance to the wider Trust.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior professional, operational, and strategic clinical leadership to the site operations team. This will involve working closely with the Site Management team to ensure effective delivery of operations across the Capacity and Flow Corporate Business Unit (CBU) in line with the Trust's objectives.

You will be responsible for leading and developing the site operations team to support 24/7 patient placement across the organisation. This will involve working closely with divisional teams to minimise delays for patients in the organisation and supporting the Long Length of Stay reduction processes.

The Site Senior Lead will also be responsible for proactively supporting patient flow from the point of patient admission through to discharge, liaising with relevant clinical teams and divisions as necessary to minimise delays and problem-solve flow issues.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Masters degree or First degree and management qualification, with significant experience in general management in the NHS. They will also have a thorough understanding of statutory obligations, including CQC standards and compliance obligations, and be able to negotiate and persuade teams and individuals at all levels to deliver against their objectives.

The successful candidate will also have experience of successful change management and service redesign, as well as the ability to assess operational demand and develop appropriate capacity in response.
