Residential Care Culinary Specialist

This role involves designing and delivering creative cooking sessions that promote engagement and enjoyment among our residents. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with individuals who have diverse needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for food and be confident in using culinary equipment. While a food hygiene qualification is beneficial, it is not essential as training can be provided if required.

In this role, you will contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents, ensuring their well-being and dignity at all times. To achieve this, we require a DBS check and two satisfactory references before confirming a volunteer role.

Safeguarding training and any specific training required for the position will also be provided.

About SeeAbility: As one of the oldest disability charities in the UK, we provide person-centred support across our residential care provisions and specialist eye-care services. Our mission is to empower individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, while also assisting people to find paid employment.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
