About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and supporting our store operations. As a Trading Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the trading team with various tasks, including stocking shelves and maintaining store displays.
  • Providing excellent customer service, responding to customer queries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Working collaboratively with other colleagues to achieve store objectives and promote a positive store environment.
  • Operating new technology, including handheld scanners and EPOS systems, to process transactions and manage stock levels.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy shopping containers, as well as work at heights.
  • Basic knowledge of modern technology, including handheld scanners and EPOS systems.

Working Hours

This role will cover a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. You will need to be flexible and able to work a range of hours, including some unsociable hours.
