Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Branch Operations Assistant to join our team at FSW Ltd. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of our branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and that orders are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Assist with the preparation of the branch trade counter and customer area, ensuring that it is fully stocked, clean, and tidy.
  • Serve customers at the trade counter, processing orders and providing information on products and services.
  • Source and order non-stocked items from other branches or via the Purchasing Department, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at prescribed levels.
  • Participate in stock take activities, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, complying with all health and safety requirements.
  • Undertake driver duties for the branch as requested, ensuring that vehicles are loaded safely and that all documentation is submitted to management on time.

Requirements:
  • A good standard of education, including maths and English.
  • A good telephone manner and proven experience of working within a similar environment.
  • Ability to multitask, including picking stock, taking phone calls, and replying to emails.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Full UK driving licence.
