Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and support to our clients, ensuring their financial needs are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and review financial statements for clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Liaise directly with clients to provide exceptional customer service, build trusted relationships, and proactively address any queries or concerns.
- Forecast and manage budgets, oversee workflow, and mentor junior staff to ensure seamless delivery of financial services.
- Prepare personal and corporation tax computations, including tax returns, tax liabilities, and providing trusted advisory services.
- Work closely with senior team members to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met, promoting a culture of excellence and customer service.

Requirements:- ACCA or ACA qualified or part qualified with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience.
- A proven track record of working with clients within practice, with a strong understanding of accounting software, including Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
- Experience using software for accounts production, such as CCH, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
- Strong communication and advisory skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
