Audit Senior Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior to join our dynamic team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, working closely with the Audit Manager to handle audit and general accounting tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified or nearing the end of their qualifications, with prior audit experience in an accounting firm. Strong communication skills to explain technical details to clients and a keen eye for detail are essential.

The ideal candidate may currently hold a Senior or Semi Senior role and is seeking a new challenge. They should be prepared to collaborate with managers to foster a positive work environment and deliver top-notch service. Autonomy and project oversight skills are crucial for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Review and prepare general accounts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Assist Audit Managers in coaching trainees, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
  • Ensure client deadlines are met, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Supervise team workflow, delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Collaborate with senior management to support company growth, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Identify value-added services for clients, developing and implementing new services to meet their evolving needs.
  • Network to promote the department, building relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Promote the firm's values within the team, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide professional client communication, explaining complex technical details in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Qualified or nearing qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CA) with audit experience.
