Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Barker Ross Group. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying opportunities for growth, and driving revenue expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and retain a portfolio of clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and meeting their needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their businesses and identifying opportunities for growth
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue expansion and improve client satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams, including customer services, operations, and despatch, to ensure seamless service delivery
- Provide regular reporting and updates to clients, including KPI data and tender processes
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and negotiate with clients to drive revenue growth
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in account management, preferably in warehousing and distribution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Ability to work autonomously, with a high level of initiative and motivation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of data management and reporting
