Job Description Summary

Become part of a pioneering team and contribute to the Green Energy transition.

This role involves interpreting customer technical enquiries and designing cost-effective overall solutions for HVDC installations using PES power electronics solutions, aiming to minimize total costs and specify main (high-value) items of bought-out equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform studies and deliver study reports.
  • Produce specifications for HV equipment.
  • Witness equipment testing.
  • Take technical responsibility in areas of expertise.
  • Provide guidance to peers on areas of expertise.
  • Develop and industrialize solution tools and processes associated with engineering activities.
  • Be actively involved in new developments in HVDC technologies, implementing control and protection solutions and creating/delivering new analysis techniques and system study tools.
  • Represent the business in external events by publishing technical papers or participating in working groups (CIGRE/IEC/IEEE).
  • Adhere to company policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Consider Health and Safety preventions, risks, behaviors and attend EHS training.
Requirements
  • Power Systems Engineering degree, MSc and above.
  • Entry/experienced industrial engineering roles.

  • Technical leadership and mentoring.
  • Good technical communication skills.
  • Technical reporting and presentation.
  • Structured approach to sharing knowledge and experience.
  • Self-motivating, proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause identification skills.
