About the Role:

As a Sales Assistant at GO Outdoors Express, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming store environment. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers, provide product knowledge, and support a culture of exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage customers and provide product knowledge to support their buying decisions.
  • Support a culture of exceptional customer service and win customers for life by exceeding their expectations.
  • Play your part in creating a safe and compliant operating environment for all colleagues and customers.
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge training to pass on up-to-date information to customers.
  • Follow processes and policies in line with expectations.

Requirements:

  • A clear, confident, and motivational communicator with excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Experience of effectively prioritizing workload to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • A passion for customer service and a proven record of delivering excellence in this area.
  • Knowledge of local market trends, competitor activity, and the ability to identify local community growth opportunities to their Store Manager.
