Children's Health Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team in Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, staff management, and professional direction to our 0-19 team, specializing in School Nursing.
The Clinical Lead will support innovation, the delivery of evidence-based practice, and quality service provision. They will ensure that audit programs, supervision, sickness monitoring, and PDR processes are in place, as well as contributing to IR1 management, EHCP process, and ESR.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership of staff and deployment of resources within the integrated area team.
- Support the Service Manager to meet the aims, objectives, and service specification of the SEND Health and Wellbeing Service.
- Develop and support staff who provide services for Children, Young People, and Families within an area team.
- Support the Trust as a learning organization and in delivering a quality service.

Person Specification:- A registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse)
- Professional Registration
- Evidence of continued personal/professional development at Level 7
- Experience of working within a Multi-Disciplinary team.
- Currently engaged in an advanced level of practice and able to demonstrate effective team management.
- Experience of research, audit, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Competencies in providing expert health support and decision-making in early help and complex safeguarding referrals.
- Highly competent in making decisions regarding ongoing patient care based on clinical and risk factors.
- Staff Management and supervisory experience.
- Ability to influence and manage change, including the promotion of evidence-based practice.
- Good understanding of child protection/safeguarding policies, recording, and reporting.
- Understanding of the commissioning requirements for the 0-19 service.
- Ability to understand and translate national policy and guidelines for use within the team and the Trust.
- Effective skills in risk assessment and managerial processes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Evidence of supporting change management.
- Access to transport and the ability to travel as required for the role.
- Participation in and maintenance of compliance with mandatory and statutory training required for the post.
