About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Construction Planning Specialist to join our team in Uxbridge, London. As a key member of our Building London and South East Commercial team, you will play a crucial role in delivering construction projects from pre-qualification to completion.



Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide a complete construction planning service, including outline programmes, logistic plans, and methodologies at pre-qualification stage. You will also be responsible for developing detailed tender construction programmes and method statements for inclusion in Bid submissions. Additionally, you will assist in contract planning, monitor progress, attend progress meetings, and reprogramming as required by the planning brief.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outline programmes, logistic plans, and methodologies at pre-qualification stage
  • Develop detailed tender construction programmes and method statements
  • Assist in contract planning, including development of contract programmes and procurement schedules
  • Monitor progress, attend progress meetings, and reprogramme as required
  • Promote the company at pre-qualification, tender, and contract interviews, presentations, and meetings
  • Carry out continuous research into new and innovative building techniques and advise the Lead Planner and tender/contract teams
  • Undertake independent project progress reporting, including analysis and feedback to project teams and senior management


Requirements:

  • A working knowledge/experience of construction planning through live job experience or training
  • Ideal experience of tendering and preconstruction
  • Ability to manage multiple project programmes simultaneously
  • Good contractual awareness and commercially astute
  • Experience with ASTA Planning software (training available)
  • Awareness of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adherence to company health and safety policy and procedures
