Job Title: Construction Planning Specialist

Argee Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Construction Planning Specialist to join our team. As a Construction Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in the logistics and planning sequencing of our projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop pre-construction plans, schedules, and resource plans. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop pre-construction plans, schedules, and resource plans for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate the preparation of project documentation, including scope of work, project schedules, and budget estimates.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to obtain permits, approvals, and relevant information for project planning and development.
  • Monitor and track project progress, milestones, and deliverables against established plans and schedules, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of pre-construction activities.
Requirements
  • HNC or similar in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Previous experience in pre-construction planning, project management, or related roles within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines and budget constraints.
What We Offer
  • Office based in Uxbridge, working with a team of 6-8.
  • Salary £35,000 - £40,000 plus PAYE package.
  • Some site visits involved, most projects in London. Travel expenses paid for site visits.
