Job Summary: As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in enhancing students' literacy skills and boosting their confidence in self-expression. Your passion for the subject will be key in making English lessons both engaging and educational.

About the Role:

As an English Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing and delivering comprehensive English lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
  2. Motivating students to enhance their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
  3. Collaborating with colleagues to refine and improve the English curriculum.
  4. Engaging in school activities and events to enrich students' educational experiences.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate for the English Teacher position will possess:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification.
  2. Experience teaching English in schools or similar settings.
  3. A strong grasp of English literature and language.
  4. A commitment to ongoing professional development and teamwork with colleagues.
  5. A valid enhanced DBS registration or a willingness to apply for one.
