Academic Leadership Opportunity at Ormiston Park Academy Thurrock

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to take on the role of Head of Academic English at Ormiston Park Academy Thurrock. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for championing the importance of education in shaping the future of young people.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the English department and contribute to the overall academic vision of the academy
* Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes
* Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver high-quality curriculum programs
* Provide guidance and support to teachers to enhance their professional practice
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote academic excellence

**Requirements**

* Proven track record of impact in teaching and leadership roles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
