Job Overview: Payables Administration Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payables Administration Assistant to join our finance team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent opportunity.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role, preferably in an office setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and the purchase-to-pay cycle.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing and matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Ensure all invoices are coded correctly and comply with company policies.
  • Prepare payment runs and ensure timely payment of suppliers.

The salary for this position is estimated at around £25,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role is based in the Ascot/Virginia Water area and offers a competitive rate.
