Howett Thorpe is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate Specialist to join our finance team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

This role is based in the Ascot/Virginia Water area and offers a competitive rate of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The Accounts Payable Associate Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This will involve several key responsibilities:

  • Processing and matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Coding all invoices correctly and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Preparing payment runs and making timely payments to suppliers.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain accurate records of invoices and payments, including proper filing and documentation. The Accounts Payable Associate Specialist will also work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the accounts payable function.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions, as well as a good understanding of accounting principles and the purchase-to-pay cycle.
