Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Manager to join our team at Strive Supply Chain LLP. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving new business opportunities and securing sales to support the ambitious growth targets of the business.

The role involves opening doors for the Business Development team to develop new leads further and following up on initial phone conversations. You will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline from lead generation, exhibitions, new business opportunities identification, through the enquiry stage.

You will be given all the tools to succeed, including excellent product training and a good CRM system with endless leads ready to be followed up on. Our client is a leading FMCG Distributor, who are currently recruiting for a senior operations role at their site in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation to sales closure.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing customers and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads and customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in sales development and business growth.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales forecasting.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Salary: £35,000 - £48,000 per annum.
