Deputy Manager (Children's Residential Care Services)
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality care services to vulnerable children? Do you have excellent leadership and communication skills? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Inspire Care (UK) Limited.
About the Role
This Deputy Manager role will be responsible for managing our 2-3 bed EBD children's home in Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home and provide support and guidance to our care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people
- Manage the children's home in the absence of the manager
- Provide support and advice to the team and home
- Be personally available on-call
- Provide supervision and mentoring to staff
- Work shifts with sleep-ins as well as admin and management shifts
- Uphold ETHICS (Empathy, Trust, Honesty, Integrity, Compassion, Safeguarding)
Requirements
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Knowledge of EBD and other complex needs/challenging behaviours
- Hold a current UK Driving Licence
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent
The estimated salary for this role is £32,514.70 - £36,674.70 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
