At Searcys, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Back of House Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Back of House areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all areas are regularly cleaned and checked for maintenance and repairs.
- Catering Equipment Management: Maintain catering equipment storage areas and ensure they are properly stored and maintained.
- Delivery and Stock Management: Accept and unload deliveries for the kitchen and cellar, checking in goods against invoices and temperature control, and storing them correctly.
- Stock Rotation and Management: Ensure stock rotation and assist with stock takes to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Drink Stock Preparation: Prepare and deliver drink stock for all areas of the catering operation.
- Waste Management: Assist with waste management and ensure all waste is disposed of properly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is cleaned, stored, and maintained to a high standard.
- Hard Working Attitude: A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Initiative and Teamwork: Take initiative and demonstrate a supportive team player attitude.
- Organizational Skills: High level of organization and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility: Flexibility with working hours and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
