Key Responsibilities:- Manage the contract from recruitment to operational delivery, building effective client relationships and meeting SLA/KPIs.
- Monitor, forecast, and report on the financial performance of the site.
- Line manage the onsite team, including motivation, target setting, and development.
- Oversee the daily implementation of the operational plan and provide regular updates to the line manager.
- Translate strategic and longer-term objectives into feasible solutions for the onsite team.
- Build strong client relationships and create a positive client perception of Challenge-trg Group.
- Recruit production staff and other staff locally to meet demands, ensuring the calibre of workers selected meets company procedures.
- Coordinate with the Operations/Recruitment Team for advertising and marketing needs.
- Plan and organise the assessment process for all production staff.
- Ensure overall compliance at sites and have plans for contingencies in place.
- Complete costings accurately for worker's pay on a weekly basis.
- Effectively manage staff, including absence, pay queries, performance, retention, and disciplinary/grievance procedures.
- Plan and organise the induction process for new starters.
- Responsible for accurate accident reporting and any insurance/claim issues that may arise.
- Maximise opportunities onsite and reduce spend wherever possible.
- Accountable for exceeding budget and driving results to achieve required P&L.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Proven experience of contract management, ideally in the Food Production environment.
- Experience of building effective client relationships at all levels.
- Experienced and successful at management and delivering results.
- Presentation, selling, and negotiation skills, together with the ability to produce results.
- Experience of working with various reporting and forecasting tools.
- Strong people management skills and the ability to work to targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build effective and sustainable relationships.
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on quality and business profit.
- Outstanding numerical and budgeting skills.
- Uses own initiative and good judgement to make decisions.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Very good computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and encourage good team work.
- Analytical and methodical in approach to problems.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to effectively handle a busy and varied workload, meet tight deadlines, and prioritise effectively.
