Ambulance Paramedic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic to join our multidisciplinary team in Primary Care. As a Paramedic in this role, you will work closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate telephone triage and take clinical responsibility for patients who have requested urgent appointments.
- Assist in producing safeguarding reports and private medical work.
- Provide a specialist Paramedic resource for healthcare professionals and service users, working collaboratively with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Work autonomously as a Paramedic, providing a holistic approach to patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Help GPs with home visits and ensure the coordination of any ambulances required.
- Triage and treat patients, making necessary referrals to other members of the primary healthcare team.
- Advise patients on general healthcare and minor ailments, referring to other members of the primary and secondary healthcare team as needed.
- BSc or Foundation in Paramedics Science is essential.
- Registration with the HCPC as a Paramedic in the UK is required.
- Experience of working as a Paramedic in the UK is necessary.
